Share Wisdom. Live Abundantly.

Gus Alivizatos, Writer and Founder

My hope is to share some of the wise minds that have spent countless hours exploring the experience of human life. Many of those minds have shared their teachings on YouTube, their personal websites and through writings.

A bit about me; father, husband, business owner and former attorney. In the midst of the great recession I tasted failure. Unemployed, unmotivated and uninspired, I took to the web. Each day I absorbed amazing messages from innovative creators who were living abundantly, both in business and in their personal relationships.

With that wisdom I set off to lead a richer, more fulfilling life. I hope you find this site helps you do the same.

I am a baseball mom to two human (teenage) boys as well as a mom to three fur babies. I am also a carpenter’s wife (our house always comes last as you know). I received my bachelor’s degree last year at the age of 39 and at that point I still couldn’t figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up…until late last year.

I have always had a passion for social media and I love to help people as well (writing and researching are my hobbies). After putting both passions together (and my hobbies), I became a social media manager for businesses. After all, if your trying to run a business who the heck has time to keep up with their social media marketing while trying to grow their business! 😉

And my webpage will launch in a couple of weeks as well: http://justtrendingsocialmedia.com/

I’ve learned somewhere along the way the trick to life is to love what you do so it doesn’t feel like work and it’s exactly the lifestyle I am building. It just makes life that much richer for myself and my family (and that’s what counts).

I’ve been described as an introverted conversationalist and I’ve been known to add all too often that ‘I once read this book that…’ during a chat. I have a degree in psychology, which has been most useful in training my dog, Edison.

I’m an occupational therapist with an interest in the effects of the built and natural environment on our lives and have been working on the same novel for the last six years. My better half is a manufacturing engineer who is a natural teacher so together we often get into a fun flow of designing and constructing whatever we have in mind.

I count audiobooks as books I’ve read, habitually check for flight deals leaving the country and have an insatiable sweet tooth!

  1. Hi wisedrug. Thank you for calling by and wanting to follow my poetry adventures. Very interested in all things paranormal conspiracy theories and observing life! Writing a passion that keeps me sane and alive! Great to meet you. The Foureyed Poet.

  2. Thank you for the invitation to join your community. However, I feel that I don’t have anything to offer at this time. Yes, I’ve lived a somewhat of a long life, but I’ve never really organized my thoughts into something that could be put down on paper.

  5. Thanks for the follow. I am sure I would enjoy reading your post. I checked out your reading list and one of the books I read and enjoyed is contagious: why things catch on by Jonah Berger. Other great books you can add to your reading list is Lead with Wisdom by Mark Strom, The Power of Habit: why we do what we do in life and business by Charles Duhigg.
