Do Minimalists Need Money? shared by Thriving Minimalist

After a certain point, money is meaningless. It ceases to be the goal. The game of life is what counts.

-Aristotle Onassis-

Can minimalists become financially successful and still practice what they preach? Can money be considered a positive exchange of creative energy? What is the difference between frugality and minimalism? Today’s Daily Dose shared by Conor at Thriving Minimalist is a great exploration into this idea.

Conor received his inspiration from a follower interested in his online 30 Day Self Knowledge and Self Love program. His patron inquired why he would be charging for the program when he was a minimalist. Conor does an awesome job answering this inquiry by giving examples of the uses of money to acquire things which make life more abundant. Therefore a noble reward for a creative endeavor like his.  The lack of money not making the same abundant life impossible but maybe more difficult. This is well worth a watch if you find yourself at odds with the rise of minimalism and your desire to live a comfortable existence.

Conor McMillen is the founder of the blog, Thriving Minimalist and it’s corresponding YouTube channel. Both creations follow his life as a nomad, acrobat and therapist, living life to the fullest while exploring the world, with his equally amazing friend Brittany.  Conor is also an artist, sharing some of his beautiful work on Instrgram along with photos of his travels. Please support Conor on his adventure to teach people self-love while loving the beauty our world offers each day.

Have a great week and Stay Wise!
