Weekend Wisdom: Laugh and Let Go with Ajahn Brahm

People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar.

Thich Nhat Hanh

Why don’t we just quit while we’re ahead? We often know that letting go of a viewpoint would be beneficial but we keep at it with zeal. This Weekend’s Wisdom shared by Ajahn Brahm gives us 4 ways to put down those heavy mental loads. He teaches us that the past is a “cellar with an open door. We can chose to walk out whenever we want”.

Give this teaching your attention and you may find yourself walking around lighter, maybe even repeating some of Brahm’s jokes!

Many thanks Ajahn Brahm for your wisdom and humor.

Enjoy the weekend and Stay Wise.
